Terms Of Use

General:

All pricing on this site is in New Zealand dollars and delivery is only available to New Zealand addresses. Distribution 101 Ltd is a New Zealand based business.

Shipping:

Our Standard Policy is:
Once an order is placed and approved, it will leave our warehouse within 48 hours during working days. Depending on your location and the nature of the goods ordered, the delivery time frame will be 1-2 days from the sending date with the exception of Rural Delivery which will add another 1-2 days. Your goods will be delivered by NZ Post / Courier Post. You will be sent an email detailing tracking information on the day that your order is processed.

Order Cancellation, Refunds & Exchanges:

If you are not satisfied with your purchase we will assist you with your refund or exchange. We are happy to exchange/refund any item purchased online (unless stated otherwise). However, the following conditions do apply:

  • You must notify Distribution 101 Ltd / Troy Lee Designs NZ of your intention to exchange/refund within 3 days of receiving your product and return your product to Distribution 101 Ltd / Troy Lee Designs NZ within 10 working days.
  • You are to cover the costs of freighting your items back to Distribution 101 Ltd / Troy Lee Designs NZ.
  • These items must be sent back via courier (track and trace).
  • For size exchanges and warranty replacements Distribution 101 Ltd / Troy Lee Designs NZ will cover the cost of the return freight of the correct item back to you (this excludes sale items).
  • All items must be returned in the condition in which they were shipped: un-used, with all original tags and in the packaging it was delivered in.
  • Our retail store locations cannot accept returns for products purchased online. Similarly, we cannot accept returns online for products purchased in our retail store locations. These matters must be dealt with at the location of purchase.

How To Return/Exchange:

If you wish to exchange/return please follow these steps:

  • Contact Distribution 101 Ltd / Troy Lee Designs NZ to advise us of your intention to return/exchange an item. Phone (07) 215 9817 or email sales@d101.co.nz
  • Fill out the return form which will be provided to you.
  • Include the completed form with the item and return to us.
  • Replacements and/or refunds will be processed after we receive your returned item.

Crash Replacement Policy:

We at TLD would not recommend reusing the helmet afterward due to the helmet's compromised integrity. For helmets purchased in New Zealand - we may be able to assist you in replacing your helmet that is involved in a crash from within one year of the date of purchase by honoring a one-time-use 30% off discount code towards the purchase of a full-price helmet only.

This offer only applies to helmets purchased in New Zealand. For helmets purchased outside New Zealand, the Crash Replacement Program discount will be at the discretion of the local Troy Lee Designs Distributor. If you have purchased your helmet through an authorised TLD dealer in New Zealand, please contact them with your request. Alternatively, if you purchased the helmet through troyleedesigns.co.nz please reach out to team@troyleedesigns.co.nz. Proof of purchase & photo evidence of the helmet is required.

Warranties:

At Troy Lee Designs, we take great pride in the quality and fit in each of our products for 1-year after purchase. All Bike and Moto helmets, however, have a 3-year warranty from the date of original retail purchase. We will stand behind them 100%. If for any reason, you have not been completely satisfied, TLD will provide the following warranty policy.

We offer virtual warranty inspection on all our products by sending an email with photos to team@troyleedesigns.co.nz. The warranty policy covers the product only in the case of manufacture defect. It does not cover products damaged due to crashes, normal wear and tear, negligence, improper care, natural breaking or fading of colors and materials over time and/or exposure.

TLD may request the defective product for further inspection. If so, a prepaid return label will be emailed. Once received and inspected, a replacement of comparable priced product item will be shipped.

You will be contacted once the inspection is completed and informed on what action will be taken.
